RoIP will be at the GSM Mobile World Congress in
Barcelona, Spain, between February 15 and 18, 2010. The Mobile
World Congress is the most popular global mobile event in the world,
featuring the latest trends and technologies in the GSM space. RoIP
will present its disruptive patent-pending ‘identity morphing’
technology for secure, convergent Wi-Fi/ 3G Internet access that
uses a virtual USIM design.
RoIP believes that there will be considerable interest in its offering
that enables cost effective communications combined with predictable
roaming charges and flexible global access from most mobile data
devices (smart phone, netbook, notebook) to access instant messaging,
VoIP, email and web.

The RoIP solution can be deployed without
additional type approvals as
it is agnostic of the radio transmission methodology used
and interworking
with existing embedded radio devices on the mobile devices
(Wi-Fi, GPRS, HDPA+, LTE, UMTS, TD-SCDMA etc). The solution
is easy to install, requires
no change in user behavior, and is globally available on most
Wi-Fi / 3G enabled mobile data devices. RoIP uses 3G and high
speed Wi-Fi hotspots to connect locally to the Internet at
30-50 times lower charges than traditional interconnect roaming
fees. The RoIP solution is pre-installed by mobile device
vendors
and external starter kits to be widely available through RoIP,
airport shops
and `White Label’ resellers/MVNOs.
The convergent Wi-Fi/3G RoIP solution appeals to many market
segments including travelers, MVNOs,Tier2 operators, VoIP
users and hardware vendors..
